🪐 FRIDAY — “THE APOCALYPSE (JUST RAY & ETHAN EXISTING)” DRILL
By the last day, everyone was exhausted. Teachers had
survival kits. The cafeteria was selling “Emergency Lunch Packs.”
Principal Tanaka took the microphone one last time.
“Students, today we simulate the worst possible event: Ray and Ethan
both arriving early to school.”
The crowd gasped in horror.
Ray and Ethan arrived five minutes later — on time, and
somehow wearing matching “Team Disaster” shirts.
Ray: “We made breakfast for everyone!”
Ethan: “Explosive pancakes!”
The principal dove behind a desk.
Amy shouted, “NOBODY EAT THAT!”
Lucy yelled, “TAKE COVER!”
The pancakes started smoking.
Ethan blinked. “Oh right… we used the bunsen burner instead of a stove.”
Ray: “It’s called efficiency.”
Amy: “It’s called arson.”
The alarm blared one last time.
Fire trucks arrived. Students screamed.
And the sign outside the school was changed to:
“SHIBUYA MIDDLE — NOW 97% FIREPROOF (BECAUSE OF THEM)”

& ETHAN PROTOCOL
By Monday, the principal issued a new school rulebook:
“In case of Ray or Ethan, evacuate immediately.”
Amy read it aloud. “They made a whole
law for you two.”
Ethan grinned. “We’re legends.”
Ray nodded. “Disasters… but legends.”
Lucy groaned. “You’re the reason legends come with
warning signs.”
Suddenly, the fire alarm went off again.
The teacher screamed, “NOT AGAIN!”
Ray: “Relax! It’s just our new invention test!”
Ethan: “The automatic alarm enhancer!”
Amy: “I’m moving to Mars.”
BOOM.
