📚 FIRST PERIOD: SCIENCE — EXPERIMENTS GO WRONG
Mr. Okada, the science teacher, foolishly attempted to
continue the lesson.
“Today, we will observe chemical re—”
Sunny jumped onto the counter.
Hana knocked over a beaker.
Cherry screamed and divebombed the safety goggles.
Noodle stole a test tube and trotted away proudly.
Pikachu climbed into the drawer where all the rubber bands
were.
And Ray shouted, “SCIENCE IS ALIVE!” for no reason.
Ethan tried to catch Sunny.
Lucy chased Pikachu.
Cherry chased Ray.
Noodle chased Cherry.
Mr. Okada cried into the sink.

TEACHER TRIES NOT TO DIE
Ms. Fujimoto walked in, took one look at the animals, and
whispered:
“…No.”
Sunny sprawled across Lucy’s desk like a runway model.
Hana was inside Ray’s pencil case.
Cherry sat on Ethan’s head screaming at the fluorescent
lights.
Noodle lay at Amy’s feet like an obedient angel…
…until she saw a student eating a croissant.
She stole it.
The student screamed.
Noodle barked YIP-YIP-YIP-YIP-YIP.
Cherry joined in: SCREEEEEE
Sunny hissed.
Hana hissed louder.
Pikachu fell off Lucy’s shoulder.
Ms. Fujimoto threw her textbook in the air and left the
room.
No one blamed her.
🍱 LUNCHTIME — OUTDOOR
MAYHEM
The school had wisely decided to hold lunch outdoors to
“reduce animal chaos.”
They were wrong.
Ethan unpacked his lunch.
Sunny stole the chicken.
Hana stole the rice.
Cherry stole Ray’s dessert.
Noodle stole Amy’s sandwich.
Pikachu stole crumbs, then fell asleep inside Ray’s hoodie
pocket.
Lucy: “I hate today.”
Amy: “Same.”
Ray: “Guys look! Cherry learned a new trick!”
Ethan: “YEAH! SCREAM LOUDER.”
Cherry screamed so loud a teacher dropped her miso soup and
yelled, “I QUIT.”
🎨 ART CLASS — THE ANIMALS
PAINT
Ms. Mizuno bravely tried a creative approach.
“Maybe,” she thought, “the animals can express themselves
through art.”
Mistake.
Sunny dipped her tail in blue paint and slapped Ray across
the face.
Hana rolled in yellow paint and turned herself into a lemon
cat.
Cherry stepped in red paint and ran across everyone’s papers
like a bloody-footed criminal.
Noodle painted the most beautiful circle pattern using her
paws.
Everyone applauded.
Then she immediately ate the paintbrush.
Pikachu fell into the glitter tray.
Lucy gasped. “PIKACHU—YOU’RE SPARKLY—”
The hamster squeaked proudly.
Ms. Mizuno took photos.
“This is… this is art,” she whispered.
