THE GRAND FINALE
Ray dropped to the floor laughing so hard he couldn’t
breathe. Ethan was wheezing like a vacuum cleaner.
The principal tried to step in but tripped over the mic
cord. The janitor fainted from laughing. The crowd started chanting:
“DUMB! DUMB! DUMB! DUMB!”
Ethan gasped between laughs, “Bro, this is the funniest way
to fail music class ever.”
Ray coughed out, “We’re legends, dude… complete idiots, but legends.”
Ethan nodded, “Brothers in roast.”
They both dropped their mics dramatically.
The beat stopped. Silence.
Then Ethan whispered into the mic,
“…Ray still looks like a confused potato though.”
And that was it.
The gym exploded with laughter so loud it could be heard three blocks away.
The next morning, the school paper’s headline read:

They didn’t win the trophy.
They didn’t get applause from the judges.
But they did get something better—
a lifetime ban from the talent show
and a reputation as the funniest idiots to ever exist.
