Rex hit a red button.

Inflatable mutant monsters popped out of the ground like carnival games.

Students screamed.

“This school cannot be caught off guard again!” Rex shouted.
“AFTER THE ZOMBIE INVASION, WE TRAIN FOR EVERYTHING!”

Amy and Lucy sprinted and dodged, hitting the targets with precision.

Ray punched one and got stuck inside its mouth-shaped opening.

“HELP! I’VE BEEN EATEN BY A POOL TOY!”

Ethan drop-kicked a mutant, bounced off, and rolled down a hill.

Coach Rex saluted.

Rex gathered the class.

The kids huddled.

Ethan: “Let’s do something illegal!”

Amy and Lucy unanimously ignored the boys.

They constructed a simple yet elegant plan:

• Amy shoots from mid-range
• Ray and Ethan… help by staying out of the way

But the moment the ball bounced—

Ray panicked.

Ethan screamed.

Both boys ran into the trajectory of the ball.
