SECTION 4 — THE SECRET HALLWAY
They reached the
final corridor.
Dark.
Mysterious.
Smelled faintly of burnt wires and shame.
Lucy crossed her
arms. “Let me guess—this is where you keep your EVIL stuff.”
Megatron hesitated.
“…Not exactly.”
He typed a code.
A panel slid open.
Inside was—
A huge shelf full
of:
- arts and craft supplies
- glitter
- stickers
- glitter
- paint
- GLITTER
The kids gasped.
“You do ARTS AND
CRAFTS?!” Ethan shouted.
Megatron stiffened. “It is for… tactical creativity.”
Ray grabbed a glitter jar. “BRO YOU HAVE SPARKLES.”
Megatron snatched it away. “THAT IS TACTICAL
SPARKLE.”
Amy stared. “Do Decepticons… make crafts?”
A moment passed.
Then the door opened again.
Soundwave rolled out wearing a macaroni necklace.
AUTOBOTS + DECEPTICONS = FRIENDS?
Megatron finally guided them to a balcony overlooking the
entire base.
“Children,” he said, “the war is over. Autobots and
Decepticons have made peace. We simply… coexist now.”
Optimus walked up behind him.
“Indeed. And surprisingly, the children have caused more
damage in one day than the war itself.”
Ray beamed. “We’re talented!”
Ethan saluted. “Chaos division!”
Lucy sighed. “I want to go home.”
Amy closed her notebook. “Tour rating… 6/10. Needs fewer
explosions.”
Megatron looked down at his base, where:
- Starscream
chased a drone
- Bumblebee
played loud music
- Shockwave
practiced yoga
- Soundwave
bedazzled a cannon
- a
wall caught fire for NO REASON
He sighed.
“Children… welcome to the new Decepticon era.”
Then Ray asked the question that destroyed whatever peace
remained:
“So uh… when can we blow something up?”
Megatron screamed internally.
Optimus silently handed him a cup of tea.
And the chaos of the DeceptiKids…
Had only just begun.
