💤 BEDTIME: NOODLE, THE NIGHT GUARD
Amy set up sleeping bags neatly, color-coded.
Ray immediately messed up the pattern just by existing.
Noodle sighed.
Actually sighed.
Like a little disappointed teacher.
Amy: “Okay everyone sleep.”
Lights off.
Silence.
…
Well, almost silence.
Ray: whispers “Ethan.”
Ethan: whispers “Yeah?”
Ray: “Do you think Noodle can do backflips?”
Noodle: soft growl of judgment
Amy: “GO. TO. SLEEP.”
Ten seconds later, Noodle curled up peacefully between Amy
and Lucy like a fuzzy little peacekeeper.
Ray and Ethan whispered a bit more but eventually fell
asleep after Noodle gently pawed them into silence.
🌅 MORNING CHAOS… OF
COURSE
Amy’s mom woke up to:
- Ray
drooling into his sleeping bag
- Ethan
wearing Amy’s fuzzy socks somehow
- Noodle
sleeping on Ray’s stomach
- Amy
sleeping like a perfect angel
- Lucy
hugging a pillow like it saved her life
Mom: “Breakfast time, kids.”
Noodle: bark of approval
Ray: “What’s for breakfast?”
Mom: “Pancakes.”
Ray & Ethan cheered so loudly Noodle barked excitedly
and sprinted in circles.
Amy: “STOP RUNNING.”
Lucy: “THE CHAOS HAS RETURNED.”
Noodle: “WOOF WOOF WOOF.”
Ethan: “NOODLE STARTED IT!”
Amy: “NO HE DIDN’T—
…okay maybe he did.”
⭐ NEXT TIME…
The squad goes to Lucy’s house, where:
- Lucy’s
room is filled with plushies
- Her
mom makes legendary snacks
- Her
dad is the calmest human alive
- And
she has a giant secret plushie mountain nobody is allowed to touch
Which obviously means Ray and Ethan WILL touch it.
