Chapter 4: The Revenge of the Chili
Before Ethan could respond, Ray’s stomach growled violently.
“Oh no,” he whispered.
“What?”
“The chili is back for revenge.”
The next three hours were a blur of pain, regret, and loud
noises from the bathroom that could have qualified as an earthquake. Ethan
texted him from the living room: You alive?
Ray replied: I think I can see the future.
After the chaos subsided, they both sat outside under the
night sky, eating ice cream straight from the tub.
Ray broke the silence first. “You know, bro… we may not have
won the golden toilet seat, but we sure earned it spiritually.”
Ethan nodded. “Our digestive systems are heroes.”
There was a long pause.
“Wanna do the pancake challenge next week?” Ray said.
Ethan looked at him, dead serious. “Absolutely not.”
Ten seconds later: “Okay, maybe.”
Chapter 5: Partners in Chaos
And so it went. Every week, Ethan and Ray found new ways to turn simple plans into full-scale disasters. Once, they tried building a treehouse and ended up inventing an accidental zipline that launched Ray into a neighbor’s pool. Another time, they volunteered to babysit and somehow taught a five-year-old how to order pizza using pigeons.
But through all the madness, one thing never changed—their
friendship. They were partners in chaos, bonded by stupidity and an endless
supply of bad ideas.
When people saw them walking down the street, they moved out
of the way. When teachers heard their names, they sighed in advance. When the
police saw them, they just said, “Not again.”
And somewhere deep down, Ethan and Ray took pride in that
legacy.
Because in a world full of ordinary people, they had
achieved something extraordinary:
They had turned stupidity into an art form.
As Ray once said, “We may not be smart—but we are
unforgettable.”
And Ethan replied, “That’s because we’re too dumb to be
ignored.”
The moral of the story?
If you ever meet Ethan and Ray, run.
Or grab some popcorn—because something insane is about to happen.
