Chapter 6: Haunted Maze
As the night went on, the chaos only grew. They went through
the Haunted Maze, and within five minutes, Ray and Ethan were lost.
Ray shouted, “Ethan, I think we’ve been here before!”
Ethan pointed. “No way! That skeleton over there is new!”
The skeleton was a mirror.
Amy and Lucy eventually found them sitting on the ground,
eating their remaining candy like war survivors.
Amy sighed. “We’ve been looking for you for half an hour.”
Ray nodded. “We’ve been looking for the exit for two hours.”
Ethan whispered dramatically, “I saw things in that maze,
Amy. I saw my grades.”
Lucy deadpanned, “That’s the real horror.”
Chapter 7: “I’M
ELECTRIC! I’M ALIVE!”
At the end of the night, the park had a fireworks show.
Everyone gathered by the lake. Ethan, still twitching from sugar, looked up at
the sky in awe.
Ray yawned. “You know, this was actually kinda fun.”
Amy smiled. “Surprisingly, yes. And no one exploded this
time.”
Lucy nodded. “That’s progress.”
BOOM!
They turned around. Ethan’s lightbulb costume had caught a
stray spark and lit up like a Christmas tree.
Ethan screamed, spinning in circles. “I’M ELECTRIC! I’M
ALIVE!”
Ray laughed so hard he fell into the grass. “IT’S
FRANKENSTEIN’S REVENGE!”
Amy facepalmed. “Every. Single. Time.”
Lucy sighed. “At least it’s festive.”
As the fireworks lit up the night sky, Ethan danced like a
malfunctioning disco ball while everyone laughed until they couldn’t breathe.
And that’s how the legend of The Haunted Halloween Mayhem
was born — one part chaos, two parts candy, and 100% stupidity.
