Chapter 8: The Roast Supreme
Finally, Amy decided enough was enough. She gathered the entire school for “The Ultimate Roast of Ray and Ethan.”
She stepped on stage with a mic.
“Welcome, everyone! Tonight we celebrate two legends of stupidity. Ray and Ethan: the only people who could fail a mirror test.”
The crowd cheered.
“Ray once tried to charge his phone with a potato. And Ethan once asked if Wi-Fi needs gas.”
Ray muttered, “It might.”
Amy pointed at him. “See? Exhibit A.”
“Together,” she continued, “they have the combined brainpower of a potato chip and the lifespan of an idea in their heads—about two seconds.”
Even the teachers were laughing. Ray and Ethan tried to defend themselves, but Amy ended it with:
“Boys, if ignorance is bliss, you two must be ecstatic.”
Epilogue: Water Balloon Revenge
After the roast, Ray and Ethan vowed revenge. But their “revenge” plan involved sneaking a water balloon into Amy’s locker.
Unfortunately, they forgot to fill it with water.
Amy found an empty balloon and a note that said “GET WET LOL.”
She looked at them and said, “You forgot the water.”
Ray blinked. “Wait, it needs water?”
Ethan whispered, “I thought air counts.”
Amy sighed. “You two don’t even breathe right.”
And yet, despite everything—the chaos, the explosions, the collective IQ of a carrot—they remained friends.
Because somehow, Amy secretly liked them. Not in a romantic way—more like the way you like a pair of dumb dogs who accidentally start a kitchen fire but still wag their tails proudly.
Every group needs balance.
And where there’s Amy’s razor-sharp logic, there’s Ray and Ethan—bumbling, clueless, and laughing all the way into their next disaster.
