🎳 Chapter 3: The Disaster Begins
Amy: strike. Again. She was practically flirting with
the pins at this point.
Lucy: strike. Of course. She even blew on her fingers like a pro athlete.
Ray stepped up, whispering to his ball: “Okay buddy, just do
what Amy did.”
He threw it… it bounced, curved, then somehow jumped into the next lane.
A random man shouted, “WHO JUST STOLE MY STRIKE?!”
Ray yelled, “SHARED VICTORY, BRO!”
Then Ethan stepped up.
He squinted. “If I throw hard enough, maybe I can get a strike AND knock over
Ray’s fries.”
He threw with the fury of Zeus—
The ball hit the lane, jumped, and hit the scoreboard.
The screen flickered. The lights dimmed. Everyone stared.
Amy covered her face. “You just broke the scoreboard.”
Ethan shrugged. “The scoreboard broke itself. I’m just a witness.”
🌀 Chapter 4: Chaos Intensifies
By the seventh frame, Amy was destroying everyone.
Lucy was right behind her, calm as ever.
Ray had scored 29 points… total.
Ethan had 31, but only because one of his balls accidentally knocked over pins from
someone else’s lane.
Ray started talking strategy. “Ethan, listen. If we both
throw at once, that’s double power.”
Ethan’s eyes lit up. “GENIUS.”
Amy yelled, “DON’T YOU DARE—”
Too late. They both hurled their balls simultaneously.
The balls collided midair, made a loud CLANG, and shot sideways.
One hit the gutter, the other knocked over a chair.
Lucy fell to her knees laughing. “This isn’t bowling anymore—this is war!”
