🌀 Chapter 7: The Volcano of Victory
Amy: focused. Steady. One shot. Straight into the volcano. Hole-in-one.
Lucy: one bounce, one curve, perfect.
Then it was Ray and Ethan. The audience (mostly horrified children and tired
parents) gathered to watch the chaos.
Ray lined up, tongue out in concentration.
Ethan stood beside him dramatically. “If you mess this up, I’ll have to disown
you as my chaos brother.”
Ray whispered, “I got this.”
He swung.
The ball launched off the volcano ramp, shot across the fence… and into the
parking lot.
A loud CLANG echoed.
Lucy screamed, “You just hit someone’s car!”
Ray blinked. “Free dent repair test?”
Ethan was next.
He put on his “serious” face (which meant he looked like he was about to
sneeze).
He swung… and somehow hit Ray’s shoe instead of the ball.
Ray yelped. The ball rolled five inches and stopped.
Amy sighed. “And that’s the end of your golfing
career.”
Ethan grinned. “Nah, this is only the beginning of my legend.”
Ray nodded. “The legend of Two Idiots and a Volcano.”
🧾 AFTERMATH
Final scores:
Amy — 42 (perfection).
Lucy — 46 (graceful chaos).
Ray — 108 (and emotional damage).
Ethan — 127 (and possibly a lawsuit).
They walked to the exit. The manager handed them their
receipt — and a warning note that read:
“Please do not return. Our windmills are still recovering.”
Ray high-fived Ethan. “We did it, bro.”
Ethan grinned. “We may not have won… but we definitely left a mark.”
Amy muttered, “On the course. Literally.”
Lucy laughed. “Next time, let’s go to karaoke. What could possibly go wrong
there?”
Ethan gasped. “EVERYTHING.”
Ray shouted, “KARAOKE CHAOS NEXT!”
Amy: “Oh no.”
Lucy: “Oh yes.”
