They agreed to sing one last song together: We Are the Champions.
Amy started strong. Lucy followed beautifully.
Then Ray and Ethan joined in — at full screaming volume.
Ethan dramatically fell to his knees, clutching his chest.
Ray raised his arms like a gladiator and yelled, “WE! ARE! THEEEEEE!!!”
The microphone sparked.
The sound cut out completely.
Smoke rose from the karaoke machine.
Amy blinked. “Did you just… kill it?”
Ethan: “It couldn’t handle greatness.”
Ray nodded. “We achieved vocal overdrive.”
Lucy gasped through laughter. “You two broke electricity!”
🧾 EPILOGUE: BANNED AGAIN
The manager came in, pale-faced.
“I’m sorry… but you’re banned. Again.”
Amy facepalmed. “Second ban in two weeks. Impressive.”
Lucy giggled. “At least they didn’t flood the place.”
Ethan whispered to Ray, “Next time—arcade?”
Ray grinned. “Arcade CHAOS.”
Amy screamed, “NO MORE PUBLIC PLACES!”
Ethan: “Too late. The people demand a sequel.”
Lucy: “Oh god, they’re self-aware now.”
As they left the karaoke lounge, the broken mic squeaked one
last word through static:
“no… more…”
