KARAOKE CHAOS — THE NIGHT THAT SHOULD’VE BEEN SILENT ๐ถ
It was supposed to be a chill Saturday evening. Amy and Lucy
had just survived Mini-Golf Mayhem, and their therapy session (a.k.a.
bubble tea break) had barely soothed their nerves. But before peace could
settle, Ethan texted in the group chat:
ETHAN: “YO. KARAOKE NIGHT TONIGHT. BRING EARPLUGS AND
ENERGY.”
RAY: “I’M BRINGING BOTH. AND CONFIDENCE.”
AMY: “Confidence won’t fix your voice.”
LUCY: “Oh no, we’re really doing this again.”
And so began the night that would forever be known in local
legend as “The Karaoke Massacre of Tokyo Street.”
๐ค ARRIVAL: WHERE CHAOS
GETS A MICROPHONE
They entered the neon-lit karaoke lounge. A friendly staff
member smiled. “Welcome! Two hours, four people?”
Ray slammed his hands on the counter. “MAKE IT THREE HOURS.
WE GOT FEELINGS TO SING.”
Ethan nodded seriously. “Yeah. Emotional trauma requires extra time.”
Amy groaned. “I can already hear the regret.”
Lucy whispered, “We should’ve gone bowling again.”
The group entered Room 7, a cozy space with flashing
lights, two mics, and a giant song screen.
๐ถ ROUND ONE: The
“Warm-Up” (aka The Screaming Begins)
Amy took the lead, of course. Her voice? Perfect. Angelic.
Smooth like butter.
Lucy harmonized like a pro.
Ray clapped dramatically. “You sound like an angel trapped in Spotify Premium!”
Ethan nodded. “Facts.”
Then it was Ethan’s turn.
He picked “Let It Go” from Frozen.
The first note came out like a car alarm trying to yodel.
Amy covered her ears. “Oh my god—he’s flat!”
Ray was crying from laughter. “HE’S NOT LETTING IT GO, HE’S LETTING IT DIE!”
Ethan held the mic high and screamed, “I’M ONE WITH THE WIND
AND SKYYYY—”
The screen froze. The machine literally glitched.
Lucy blinked. “You just crashed the karaoke machine.”
Ethan shrugged. “Guess my voice is too powerful.”
Amy: “Your voice committed digital murder.”
