THE FIGHT ON THE SLEIGH
Santa cracked his whip—lightning shot across the sky.
The reindeer snarled and soared higher.
The sleigh tilted.
Everyone screamed.
Lucy clung to Amy. “THIS IS NOT SAFE—”
Ray slid across the sleigh like a penguin. “THIS IS
AWESOME—”
Ethan spun in circles. “IM TOO YOUNG TO BE A CHRISTMAS
ORNAMENT—”
Amy caught Ray by the collar for the 4th time that night.
“STOP NEARLY DYING.”
Zombie Santa pulled a giant candy cane staff from his sack.
Ethan gasped. “BRO HE HAS A MEGA CANDY WEAPON!”
Ray screamed. “WE’RE GONNA GET SMACKED INTO CHRISTMAS PAST!”
Santa raised the staff—
Lucy took a deep breath…
—and threw a snowball at his face.
Everyone froze.
Even Santa.
Ray stared. “You hit Santa with a snowball.”
Lucy nodded. “Yes.”
Amy blinked. “…And it worked?”
Santa stumbled back, dazed.
Ethan whispered, “Lucy is the chosen one.”
THE CURE MOMENT
Amy stepped forward with the vial.
“This is for your own good, Santa!”
Zombie Santa growled and reached for her—
Ray and Ethan leapt onto his arms, trying to hold him back.
Ray yelled, “AMY, DO IT—”
Ethan yelled, “CURE HIS FACE—NOW—”
Amy splashed the cure directly into Santa’s beard.
A blinding blue glow spread across his body.
He roared—
glowed brighter—
and suddenly collapsed into the sleigh seat.
The kids held their breath.
The glow faded.
Santa blinked groggily. “Ho… ho… ho? Where—where am I?”
Ray screamed in joy. “WE DID IT!”
Ethan hugged Santa’s leg. “SIR YOU SMELL SO MUCH BETTER
NOW.”
Santa patted his head gently. “Thank you, little… um…
chaotic one.”
Lucy smiled in relief. “The infection is cured.”
Amy slumped down, exhausted. “Finally.”
LANDING & CELEBRATION
Santa steered the sleigh toward the school roof and landed
gently.
Teachers and students cheered.
“CHRISTMAS IS SAVED!” someone shouted.
Ray threw both hands up. “AND WE DIDN’T DIE! AGAIN!”
Ethan shouted, “SOMEONE WRITE A MOVIE ABOUT US.”
Lucy smiled. “We still need to release the cure to the
city.”
Amy nodded. “Tomorrow. Tonight… we celebrate.”
Santa handed each of them a shiny wrapped gift.
Ray ripped his open. “OH MY GOSH IT’S A SELF-INFLATING
JETPACK—”
Ethan opened his. “BRO I GOT A SWORD—”
Lucy opened hers. “Mine is a puzzle cube! Nice.”
Amy opened hers slowly. “I got… a handbook on ‘Managing
Idiots.’”
She looked at Ray and Ethan.
Ray grinned. “Useful?”
Ethan nodded. “Very.”
Amy sighed. “Santa understands me.”
