It all began on a Saturday morning when Amy burst into the group chat with a message that instantly guaranteed chaos:
AMY: “My cousins are hosting a PET BEAUTY CONTEST.
Bring your pets. No excuses.”
RAY: “Even Crunch?”
AMY: “NO.”
ETHAN: “Too late he already put on a bowtie.”
And so, once again, the world trembled.
🌟 THE PET LINE-UP OF DOOM
Amy arrived first with her perfect poodle, Noodle,
who had a sparkly ribbon and looked like she walked straight out of a shampoo
commercial.
Lucy came next with Pikachu the hamster, who wore a
tiny detective hat and sunglasses. Noodle did a polite bow. Pikachu squeaked
with elegance.
Ray arrived with Cherry the bird, who was screaming
“HELLO LOSERS” because Ray accidentally taught her that.
Then Ethan rolled in with Sunny and Hana the cats… in a
stroller… wearing matching kimono.
Everyone nodded.
Yes. This was normal for them.
But then—
ROOOOOAARRRRRRRR.
Ethan’s cousins arrived.

Ethan:
“Yes. Hunger.”
Lucy:
“Great. Perfect. I love being alive.”
