“Phones. On my desk. Now.”
Ethan slowly placed his phone down.
Ray did too.
But as he turned away, his phone made a loud “MEOW!” sound.
The ringtone.
Mrs. Grumbletooth’s eyes narrowed. “Was that a cat?”
Ray stammered, “No ma’am! It’s… um… my stomach?”
Ethan facepalmed so hard his sunglasses almost broke.
Mrs. Grumbletooth hissed, “Sit. Down.”
