The next day, Ethan decided to get revenge. “You roast me, I roast you,” he said confidently.

Ray chuckled. “Alright, try it.”

Ethan thought hard. “Okay… You’re so… uh… so dumb that… wait.”

He froze. The gears in his brain made audible creaks.

Ray tapped his foot. “I’m waiting.”

“Okay!” Ethan shouted triumphantly. “You’re so dumb you… uh… you—yeah.”

Ray blinked. “That’s it?”

“Yeah,” Ethan said proudly. “Boom. Roasted.”

Ray sighed. “Ethan, that was like getting hit with a wet noodle.”

Ethan shrugged. “Still counts.”

Despite everything—despite the cereal soup, the solar flashlight, and the love affair with stupidity—Ethan and Ray remained best friends.

Ray kept roasting him daily, and Ethan kept giving him more material than the internet could ever handle.

And maybe, just maybe, that was their secret power: Ethan’s stupidity was infinite, and Ray’s patience (barely) survived it.

One day, as they sat watching the sunset, Ethan turned to Ray and said, “Bro… if the sun’s a star, then when it sets, are we time traveling?”

Ray sighed. “You know what, man? Don’t ever change.”

Ethan grinned. “Thanks, bro. I won’t.”

Then he tripped over his own shoe and fell into the trash can.

Ray just stared for a long moment and whispered, “He’s truly… unstoppable.”
